Here and preposition
I see that before "here" sometime we use preposition, sometime we don't. Example:
I am here
It is very hot in here.
Could we say: I am in here? or It is very hot here? Could you please tell me when "in" is needed?
Re: Here and preposition
I suppose it is used to purely emphasise an adverbial modifier of place. You can say: It lies there. Or: It lies in there! (open your eyes, look harder!)
