    visiting or going to visit?

    Hi everybody.
Would you please help me on this matter:
    Ron is visiting Madrid.
Ron is going to visit Mdrid.
How should we use these to talk about future actions (present continuous or 'going to')?

    Thanks.

The first can mean now or in the future: He's visiting Madrid right now, he's visiting it today, he's visiting it tomorrow, he's visiting it next year.

The second always means in the future: He's going to visit Madrid tomorrow, soon, some day, eventually, when he gets around to it, in the fullness of time, when he's good and ready....

    Thanks Charlie Bernstein.

I know that very much. What I am trying to enquire about, may be clearer through this example:
Ron (checking his arrangements): I am flying (or am going to fly ) to Boston because I have a meeting tomorrow.

So, which one is better since they are both used in future meaning?

    Thanks again.
