    paraphrasing

    Hi

I was very excited about playing with Paul McCartney, although I would have been just as happy playing tambourine with Ringo on drums.

Does it say: I was very excited that I could play with Paul Mc., but if I had a chance to play tambourine with Ringo who would play drums I would be happy as well.
