    Default back door

A : Do you know how to to change my PC IP address?
B : Yes, I do. It's a piece of cake. You just use a proxy server then it will lead you to the back door.
    A : What back door??

Does 'the back door' in this conversation commonly used as a metaphor? If so, does it sound natural?

    Thanks.
