    That and so

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to use THAT in the follwing sentence:

The poet compares the woman s face to a garden. He does THAT with the aim of presenting her face as something really nice.

Can THAT be replaced by SO?

    Are there any other mistakes?
    Thanks Rip.

    Re: That and so

'That' is OK, but 'so' is better.
