    open-floor plan

"The result is an integrated collection representing a part of Flanders' social history and heritage, plus a bit of archaeology, in a beautifully sunlit open-floor plan."
Is this a space where the sunlight falls in from above?
I know what a floor plan is but I never heard of an "open-floor plan"
Anyone who can shed a bit of light here please?

    I found a definition.

"An open floor plan is a relatively new concept in residential home design. That means that larger spaces are opened up within the house to connect areas with different functions."

Simply said: an open space, no walls in it.

Not divided into separate rooms, because no walls - just a large open space
