    Arrow sentence, phrase, and clause

    In the name of the Merciful Allah,
    Hi, why don't you provide us with a comparison of those three terms: sentence, phrase, and clause. I really want to know how to distinguish them, and I'm sure I have lots of company. Thanks a lot ahead.

    The Difference Between Clauses & Phrases

    clause ≤ sentence

    a sentence is made up of one or more clauses

    sentence = 1 or 2 or 3... clause(s)
