Question Usage of the phrase 'Please find attached...'

    Hi

I am currently teaching Business Writing to Customer Service Executives in a corporate in India.

I would like to know if:
    1. it is grammatically correct to use 'Please find attached...'?
    2. the usage of the phrase 'Please find attached...' is archaic?

These CSEs serve American customers and the letter auditors in the US consider this phrase grammatically correct and appropriate.

Your response will be of great help.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi there

In my opinion (I am a research student in UK and English is not my first language), your usage is grammatically sound and should not be a problem. It is not archaic either.

FYI, I myself start my sentence with "Attached herewith is the document ..." thanks to my Professor when he used it in his E-mail. It is just the matter of phrase choice, I guess.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Tuss
