Default Get Down - Backstreet Boys

    Hi!

Have you ever heard a song called "Get Down" which sung by Backstreet Boys in 1990s ? Then what does "Get Down" mean in this song? Does it mean "to dance" ?

Could you have a look for me? Many thanks!

    You're the one for me
    You're my ecstasy
    You're the one I need

    Get down
    Get down
    And move it all around

And here is the MV of this song, I guess maybe it would be helpful for you to answer my question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5XOjnpX3-w

Yes. Sometimes "get down" can have sexual overtones, but in this case they are inviting the girl to get down on the dance floor - to dance enthusiastically and be uninhibited.

    Hi! Ouisch,

Thank you very much for taking your time to look at my question again.

Mmm... I still have another two questions about this lyrics, and I was wondering if you could have a look for me when you are free. Thank you.

Q1: What does “bang” and “slam” mean here?

I could not find the suitable definitions of these two words for this lyrics from the dictionary. Does “slam” mean “to dance the slam dance”? Then what is the meaning of “bang” ?

Q2: And also, what does “Smack it up, flip it” mean?

There’s no definition for this phrase in the dictionary either.

Bang, bang, bang, here we come, here we slam
It's the Fun Factory with the BSB's
Y’all you guys, get on your knees tryin' to scream or touch
    me, please
Backstreet Boys, are you with it? A.J. hit it

Come on, girl, and get down
Smack it up, flip it and move it all around
Here it is if you wanna get with this
Put you on the top of my list, oh
