    I'm not sure whether 'did visa' is ever all right(?) and also don't know
    whether 'with' is correct, but I would have used:

    I took the visa from embassy today.
    I got the visa from embassy today.

    anyone can clarify whether 'did visa' and 'with' correct as jctgf asked?
