    as

    Is this sentence correct:

"I am reading a scientific book as entertainment."

Does it imply that the book is in itself an entertaining book?

    Re: as

It's OK, but you could also say 'for entertainment' or, better in my opinion, 'for pleasure'. It doesn't necessarily mean that the book would be considered entertaining by all readers.
