How long will you stay vs How long will you be staying

    Hello

Would you please tell me the difference between the two:

-How long will you stay in the hotel?
-How long will you be staying in the hotel?

    Thanks a lot.

    Both mean the same.
The latter is more polite and therefore more likely to be heard when talking to a stranger (in a hotel, etc.)
