    crampy and cross?
Over the long haul, the bus riders tended to get itchy and stinky and crampy and cross.

    Re: crampy and cross?

'Crampy' seems a bit colloquial-- it means 'cramped' (uncomfortably tightly confined). 'Cross' is ill-tempered.
