Hi I want to know if this sentence is written correctly: "Despite of there could be some cases of people who might have not being treated nicely, native people are kind to outsiders" This sentence is from a text comparing living in other countries...my question is about the use of despite, should I better say: "Despite the fact there could be....."??
Thanks a lot!
why don't say: Despite their lack of experience, they are good tennis players? It's fine; now you're talking about the situation in the present Despite their lack of experience, they were good tennis players. talking about the situation in the past.
