    Default hellp me, please!

    i have learned English for a long time but sotimes i have problem with grammar and i do not know how to make it right!
    and now i have 2 sentences(from English test):

    1> he hurt hic leg.....the soccer match.
    a. by b.over c.while d. during

    2>is the store........on sunday?
    a. open b.opens c.will open d. to opening


    i chose A for the first and A for the second. But i do not know is it right?
    so plz help me and explain more for the second sentence!

    I'll start with your answer to the second question - it's correct.
    As to your first answer, you should have chosen option D - during the soccer match means while he was playing in the soccer match.

    but can you explain me more about this question:

    is the store open on sunday?

    is and open are verbs, i know " be+to+ verb" , but in this , there is only "is" and"open"!

    No, in this case open is an adjective. If it was a verb, then your sentence would look like this:
    Does the store open on Sunday?
