    Re: What accent ?

Many actors can adopt different accents with ease and do it convincingly, but even in their profession, they tend to stand out a bit. I think it could be an interesting avenue to explore and he may well have a lot of sensible advice. I can't get hold of it where I am living but would be interested to hear your response and whether you felt it was beneficial.

    Re: What accent ?

    Hello

For anyone who's interested ,thinking about you Tdol , I've finally bought Robert Blumenfeld's book , and I think it is very good!!!
Even the french accent is quite accurate (he even speaks better than me ! A shame being french ! lol)

I think the book is well structurated ,easy to understand , and very much helpful ! I just love it !

Right now I'm focusing on the northen and southern american accents , my goal is to find the accent that "suits"me better ,and discover others ...

The 2 CDs might be "short" so to say , there are a very few exemples , but I think once you've understood the "mecanism" in order to produce an accurate sound ,it's quite enough !(position of the mouth...) You can pick a book and keep on practicing !

    So that's it !!

    bye everyone !
