    Default gerund after comma

    1. I found her in the library, ensconced in an armchair.
    2. I found her in the library, ensconcing in an armchair.
Is there a difference between those sentences?

[2] I found her in the library, ensconcing in an armchair.

    Ensconcing
has a stative sense; she was settled snugly.

No action/process involved. Just the state.
