- For Teachers
I will finish my internship at the end of this month. I want to express my appreciate to my boss and colleagues who gave me lots of help during my working period at here. Please go through my letter below and help me to correct it or rewrite some parts in order to make it perfect. Thank you very much!
Today is my last day at office. During these four month, I learned a lot through my work and gained new knowledges from you and our team. I really appreciated that you gave me this chance to help at office.
With you best wishes,
Time flies, to spent four month with you always too fast for me. Thank you very much for your generous help during my working period here.
It will be always my honor to work with you!
With you all the best!
Thank you for your reply. I have one more question, which subject for these two letters is appropriate? "farewell my dear colleague" or "Thank you"?
Do you mean 'subject' as in the subject line of an email? If so, it depends on the level of intimacy you have with these people. 'Farewell my dear colleagues' is a bit dramatic sounding to my ears unless you have become quite close to them. There are very few situations in which 'Thank you' is inappropriate. I would go with that. 'Thank you and good-bye' could also work if you want to get the idea of leave-taking into the subject line.
Thanks for helping Petra!! :)
