    Default Sentence errors...please help

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me explain the errors in the following sentences:

    1. "Who talked you to at the party last night?"

    2. "Take a note please darling. For starters, I'll have some vegetable soup and for main course I'll have a steak - medium-rare if you don't mind."

I have found the errors, but I'm having a little bit of trouble explaining these mistakes.

    Thanks in advance.
