    reimburse for ?

    You exchange something for something that costs less, what do you say?

    Will you reimburse me for the difference?
    Will you reimburse me the difference?
    Will you reimburse the difference?

    Yes, I guess the verb is "to refund", a synonym with reimburse.

    The dentist should refund me for ill-fitting the ....
