    Default please help.. my finals coming (the argument- William Blake)

    hi poeple..

    please explain this poem for me please..
    i need to understand it word by word
    I can't understand anything of it..

    This is the poem.. it is short:

    The Argument.

    Rintrah roars & shakes his fires in the burden'd air;
    Hungry clouds swag on the deep

    Once meek, and in a perilous path,
    The just man kept his course along
    The vale of death.
    Roses are planted where thorns grow.
    And on the barren heath
    Sing the honey bees.

    Then the perilous path was planted:
    And a river, and a spring
    On every cliff and tomb;
    And on the bleached bones
    Red clay brought forth.
    Till the villain left the paths of ease,
    To walk in perilous paths, and drive
    The just man into barren climes.
    Now the sneaking serpent walks
    In mild humility.
    And the just man rages in the wilds
    Where lions roam. Rintrah roars & shakes his fires in the burden'd air;
    Hungry clouds swag on the deep.

    I can't understand anything of it..
    And you are doing your finals? Well, good luck, you will certainly need it.

    I was going to ask which part you want us to explain, but if you don't understand anything of it, it simply won't do.

    Don't be angry please..
    never treat all poeple the same..
    don't forget that I am Arab ..
    anyway I understand every word in the poem surely..
    But what I meant is that I need to know what this poem is about.. why Rirah roars and shake?..Who is Rirah?.. who is intended by (his) in the first line?

    Do a Google search of: William Blake Rintrah
    Read around the primary material.
    William Blake is not easy without some background.

    I pride myself in treating everybody the same as a good teacher should.

    Why I should treat an Arab any other way than any other person is quite above me.
