    government

The government doesn't want the similar events happen again, does she?

    Is "she" correctly used here?
Besides, when should we use "she" for group nouns?

    Thank you very much.

Use 'it' here. I wouldn't use 'she' for any group noun that I can think of, but you will see 'she' used for cars and boats.
