Default extend her visa for six months

extend her visa for six months

Does it mean the same as 'extend her visa for another six months'? Or six months all together?

    Thanks!

Default Re: extend her visa for six months

It depends on the context, actually; however, in my experience, having lived in Asia for the past 10 years, it means to add on 6 more months.
