    Wink Sentence transformation

    Could you please help me with these sentence?
    1. When the goods arrive at the shop, they're inspected carefully.
    --> On.......
    2. Despite his brilliance, he never became famous.
    --> Brilliant......

    Brilliant though he was, he never became famous.

    What does "but" mean above? You asked for sentence transformation.

    Although he was brilliant --> preposing "brilliant" for it to get more stress, emphasis --> Brilliant though he was...
