    Default Is it fine, please?

They should live together. Not separated.

They should live together instead of separated.

Is any of these sentences good English, please?
    Thanks.

    hi
in both setences you have used live (present tense) so use seperate (present tense)

    or

use lived (past tense) and then you can use seperated (past tense)

    ps im not a teacher

I thought the adjective for "separate" was "separated". Then, I looked up the dictionary and found "separate" as an adjective too. Is the adjective "separated", "separate" or both, please?

Also, could I say "they are separate/separated by miles away!"?

    Thanks.
