    Default Clarification

    I'm not a teacher.

I have a question here. One of my friends said to me: We may be making this more complicated than necessary. What does that mean? Does that mean we needn't do things in such way because it's unnecessary. It's too complicated!

    Thanks for your help!

    Welcome!
Your friend means that (maybe) we are making "this" more complicated than it needs to be.

    Do you understand now?

    Thanks for your help, 2006!

Actually, my friend said the thing can be done more simply, right?
