    Default Norhtern or northern Germany?

    Hello
I'd like to know whether you'd write "northern" with a lowercase or capital N in the following sentence:

"He works as a sales representative for N/northern Germany."

    Thank you so much.

If it's a proper name, say, the name of a company or the name of a specific geographical locations (e.g., the Northeast, the Southend), then use a capital. However, do not capitalize compass directions or locations that aren't being used as names.

    A. He works for a company called Northern Germany.
    B. He works for a company located in northern Germany.
