    TEFL books

Does anybody know where I can get a good overview of the most important TEFL coursebooks and other resources that have been published over the last ten years or so?

    Re: TEFL books

Maybe this question was too general to be useful, so I will try to focus it a bit. When I was last active in TEFL, popular course books included the likes of Headway, Success at First Certificate, Focus on Proficiency (just the tip of a large iceberg of good publications). Are these still in widespread use, or if not, what have they been replaced by?

Thanks, it was getting lonely here.

I have recently come across two series called Top Notch and Summit, which I am completely unfamiliar with. I would be interested in any comments about them.

I have heard about Summit - some friends of mine have a good impression about it.

The series Headway also seems to be a good one. It seems Headway was originaly focused mainly in BrE, however they have recently released the "American Headway" series based in AmE.

That is interesting, thank you. Headway is an old favourite of mine, though that was probably several editions ago.
