    Default Reverse / Forward

I'm having some trouble figureing out if these are right or not.

    What do these mean?
    1. The direction of the map is forward in this game.
    2. The direction of the map is forwarded in this game.
    3. The direction of the map is reverse in this game. (This sounds odd. If it is wrong, why? #1 is correct?)
    4. The direction of the map is reversed in this game. (If this is right, how come #2 sounds odd?)

    Thanks.

    Default Re: Reverse / Forward

"The direction of the map" doesn't work with "forward", so you'll need another subject. Try,

The plan is to move forward. (adverb)
    She is very forward. (adjective)
She a forward thinking employee. (adjective)
    She walked forward. (adverb)
She forwarded the email to me. (verb, past)
Please forward it to me. (verb, imperative)

    The plans are reversed. (adjective)
She put the car in reverse. (noun)
She reversed the phone charges. (verb, past)
    Reverse the car! (verb, imperative)
