    Traffic on the "Sixes"

    Hi,

You know you're in L.A. when "traffic on the sixes".

    What does it really mean?

    Tks,

    Re: Traffic on the "Sixes"

It means the traffic report is made every ten minutes at six after the hour, sixteen after the hour, twenty-six after the hour, etc.

    For example: 7:06, 7:16, 7:26, 7:36... and so on.

LA has terrible traffic, so they need traffic reports every ten minutes.
