    Might question tag

    Ok here's a wierd question.

We're going over question tags in class and a sentece came up with might in it. Is there some type of exception when we make the question tag, because it just sounds weird to me.

    Would one say?:
We might go, might we not?

mightn't and shan't are not as popular in modern (American) English as they are in British English.

He might come, mightn't he? | He might come, right?
We shall go, shan't we? | We will go, won't we?

    Re: Might question tag

As a BrE speaker, I have no problems with 'mightn't' in question tags, but don't use it much elsewhere.
