    Question conditional clauses

    I have few conditional sentences to solve ,but I cant. Please ,I need help.

    Here they are:
    If you read this book,you _____(understand)what I mean.
    It would be better If she _____(not come) now.
    IF my watch _____(not be) slow ,we would have arrived in time.
    They will hear better If he _____(speak)louder.
    If he left earlier,_____he catch .
    If you read this book you will ____(see) what I mean.
    If the car ____(not break) down,we would have arrived on time.
    Did David written a letter last night?

    The meaningless one probably has an omission:

    If he left earlier, would he catch the bus?
