    Post Are you upto it?

    If someone gives a big project and asks the person who is supposed to do the project by saying "are you up to it" what does that expression means?

    The questioner wants to know if that person has adequate powers or knowledge to run the project.

    To be up to sg can also suggest something that is being performed furtively.
