    Default correct mistakes

Please help me to correct the mistakes. They are red:

1 I put my new book of zoology here on the desk a few minutes ago, but I can not seem to find it.
2 That novel is definitely a dense packed narrative, but one which requires a vast knowledge of cultural background or an excellent encyclopedia.
3 Our new office will be located downtown in the corner of Euclid Adventure and East Ninth Street.
4 If it hadn’t been for the computerized register tape from the grocery store I never would have been able to figure on expenditures

    Thanks in advance

4 If it hadnít been for the computerized register tape from the grocery store I never would have had a chance to check/calculate/understand the expenditures.

Please now look carefully at all the changes to see if you understand them. If not then do ask again.

I think that book of zoology should be book on zoology.

Book on zoology, book about zoology, zoology book are all possible and correct, and I agree are better than 'of'.

No. The book or novel contains densely packed narrative, but is not itself 'densely packed narrative'.
The book is made up of pages of densely packed narrative.
The novel is full of densely packed pages of narrative.

Can you see the difference now?
