Is this homework or a distance learning course? You have a try first.

Hi. I am also struggling a little with similar questions. The one I am stuck on is - sorry I can't help anyone else at the moment.

    1. I wish you wouldn't smoke so much

Could really use some help to clarify this one.

The person who is asking the question, does he want the person to stop smoking? Does he want the person to smoke less? Does he think that smoking is bad for the other person's health?

I'm not familiar with the use of "concept questions". Wouldn't it relate to the grammar rather than the pragmatics.
For example, the concept behind the OP's question 5 is the sequence of past tenses.
    The concept behind
    1. I wish you wouldn't smoke so much
is the use of 'would' after 'wish', rather than:
I wish you won't smoke so much.
I wish you don't smoke so much.

    Is that right?
