Red face MA Thesis in teaching English

    hello there

I want to choose a topic for my thesis, and I'd like to conduct a research on Pharmacy students studying English as a general and specialized (doubt whether it's correct), courses.
I'd really appreciate if you help me in this regard. i.e., shall I do research in the field of ESP, shall I examine their writing, reading or what?? would you please suggest some up to date topics? what should I do exactly, really confused.
    Thanks in advance

Pharmacy has little enough to do with English in particular that you might wish to broaden the topic to include any foreign language use of English by students using English in a scientific and clinical context but using their native language with patients or the public.

The point of a graduate degree is to do your research. A library is the place to go, not a web page.

I do completely disagree with you. bacause a good researcher tries to gather way giving ideas from every where possible. whether a libarary or a web page. well, perhaps you didn't have ideas at all.
moreover, I asked the others in this forum to provide me with some uptodate sites or topics regarding teaching English.
I think you didn't get the point in my thread.
Furthermore, this way of answering a learners thread like me is discouraging. please do NOT do that.

I would appreciate if anyone in this forum can help me in this regard.

    Thank you very much

You need to begin by reading the relevant journals that are available through your university - those that relate to ESL and Pharmacy. You could start with a search for "ESL and Pharmacy". I know that's pretty basic, and you've no doubt thought of it. You then detect whatever gaps there exist already in the knowledge of ESL in pharmacy students, and attempt to fill that gap with your thesis.

I didn't think there was anything discouraging in my answer. I absolutely LOVE going to the library. It's the world's greatest treasure, endless discovery, boundless knowledge, constant learning. If you want to do a graduate degree, I hope that all sounds very good to you too.

Some of these medical English sites might help: Medical English - ESL Web Directory - UsingEnglish.com

Also, if you search this forum for phamarceutical related terms, you will find a large number of posts made by someone doing a doctorate in the subject that might be relevant.
