Failure in writing

I read just for fun some idions and I'm currently at:

Especially the word: "Playa"

The description is wrong:
"A playa is somenody who has many partners or who sleeps with a lot of people. (A phonetic spelling of 'player' because they 'play the field')"

Or I mean it's right but the highlighted word is wrong.
