SBC has a long commitment to improving education. The Knowledge Network Explorer (KNE) is the official web site of the SBC company education program and has been on the Internet since 1995. Our mission is to help schools and libraries acquire and effectively use Internet and Videoconferencing technology. In 2003, the Education Advocate program expanded into the former Southwestern Bell states (Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas.) Please read our introduction for more information.
