The Language Centre, University of Leeds
The English Language Unit was established as an independent unit within the University of Leeds in 1983. In 1995 it merged with the Foreign Language Teaching Unit to form the new Language Centre. The Language Centre provides English language tuition to students of the University, regular courses for students preparing for university study and language training for professionals from many parts of the world.
