The Test of College Academic English (CAE) is a test of the English skills needed for daily use and academic study—testing listening, reading and writing—and is designed for placement, or tracking achievement, in study programs. It is available online and in paper and pencil versions.

Welcome to DIALANG, where you can learn about your strengths and weaknesses in a foreign language, and find out what level you are at. DIALANG provides flexible support to anyone learning a language: You can test yourself in reading, writing, listening, grammar and vocabulary. DIALANG's 14 languages are: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.

This is a troubleshooting quiz. It determines your level and helps you pinpoint your errors. Do the quiz and then click on "Correct" to get your score and a list of your errors. For each error you can go to a quiz that can help you understand and correct the error.

There are four levels available: Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, and Upper-intermediate. Your test results will give an approximate indication of the level which is best for your needs. The test consists of two sections: grammar and vocabulary. You have ninety-five minutes to complete the test. It means that there is enough time to work through the activities and check your answers, so there is no need to hurry.

100 multiple-choice questions which will determine your level online. Results are given in the form of course recommendations, - beginners, elementary, Cambridge First Certificate, etc.
