(In)definiteness of pronouns
Studies of anaphora rarely make reference to well-known semantic criteria for NPs (e.g.,
definiteness, specificity, presuppositionality) because pronouns seem to be, by definition,
definite, specific and presuppositional. However, there are cases in which pronouns cannot be
