Writing Systems are components of knowledge systems. Kiswahili (Swahili) is an African Language spoken mainly in Eastern and Central Africa. People in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, eastern Zaire, northern Zaire, northern Malawi, northern Mozambique, northern Zambia and southern Somalia speak this language. Kiswahili is a national language in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
