| It is not just a good idea; as an essential part of English it should be a must. It is very hard to delearn a wrong intonation later. |

| Intonation is probably best learned passively, when amongst native speakers. |

| I think only a brief mention should be given to intonation when learning English, as it doesn't make a HUGE difference to the meaning on a sentence (emphasis only), unlike some other languages which have very similar-sounding words and intonation completely affects the meaning. |

| I has regretted because my ESOL teacher didn't teach me intonation. Finally, for 11 years in U.S.A. I know what is intonation. |
