The only difference between 'airborne'and 'waterborne' is the medium!

How depressing that so many people think 'born' should be used here, whether hyphonated or not. It wasn't created in the water, it was bourne along by it!

Water-borne. Borne means carried. The disease is carried by the water not born in it.
