| Not in my part of the US--we use "skillet". The term "frying pan" is British and Northeast USA. |

| I have to say, but my namesake got into a bit of a muddle there - sorry Ben. The question is obviously not: Qu. Do you use a skillet or a frying pan, or both? But: Qu. Do you use "skillet" (i.e. the word), "frying pan", or both. Whilst frying pans are skillets (i.e. for all x, x is a frying pan iff x is a skillet) it is certainly not true that the word "frying pan" is the word "skillet"... FOOL |
