I've read some of her poems and they didn't seem too lardy.

Can an answer be a question?

Probably not. A response could be a question.

Question. (lol) Well, we can sometimes answer with another question. For example, Will you give up a seat for a pregnant woman if you are a woman? then you can answer with "Will you?" or "what would you do in a situation like this?" If you are not sure or if you want to throw the question back to the person who just asked you.

YES! You ask, 'can I have that cookie?'
The other speaker says, 'Yes, But only if you clean my room.'
It's an answer and a question.
