Live at the Apollo

I have just heard that James Brown has died. I saw him a few years ago. Much of the show was fairly dull, with magicians and extended music breaks. But suddenly he would flash to life and perform as well as he had on Live at the Apollo. Those glimpses, those moments when the timeless youthful brilliance shone through were among the greatest moments I have ever seen at any concert.
