At the end of 2004, we recorded how many entries we had in some of the sections of our site, which means that we can see how much progress we have made in our reference section, quizzes, etc, since then. Handouts, Quizzes, Tests, etc
Reference
Phrasal verbs were not in database format at the end of 2004- we converted them from HTML lists early on in the year. In 2005, we also added a Slang database, which had 339 entries at the end of the year, and a Cockney Rhyming Slang one, which had 264 entries. Forum
The huge increase in people joining the forum does include people joining the Members' Area; during the year we changed from having separate joining systems to a single area, which will account for some of the increase. However, the forum was particularly busy in 2005, so many thanks to all those reading and posting in it. Our links database had a 36% increase to 2419, from 1781 in 2004, though a few hundred dead links were also cleared out a few months ago. We have also had 33,880 downloads of our Glossary and 24,520 of our Irregular Verbs viewer by the end of 2005. | |
