Is a dream a lie if it don´t come true

Dear all, gramatically I would say that it should be "Is a dream a lie if it doesn´t come true". But I have heard that "Is a dream a lie if it don´t come true" is more common. Could someone confirm it? Thanks and best regards, Dany ;-)

When to use "used to" and "would always"? Are they always replaceable or is there a difference? Example: I used to take my surf board to the beach with me. I would always take my surf board to the beach with me. Are both correct? If not, why? Thanks for your help, Dany
