Hello there,
Is there a difference between "to my liking" and "for my liking"?
Which of these sentence would be correct:
1) "It's getting a little too hot in here for my liking"
2) "it's getting a little too hot in here to my liking"
3) "Is the soup to your liking?"
4) "Is the soup for your liking?"
I've got the feeling that sentence number 4 is incorrect, but the first two sentences trouble me the most.
